I've been trying for a while now to replicate the superspeedway racing before the plates were introduced in 1988. The racing back then was very strung out with no large packs at all. Just small 2-5 car packs with lots of cars by themselves. I've started experimenting with Chassis Type 2 instead of 1 or 5, and it gives me realistic speeds. My challenge is getting the AI to string out quickly and develop small packs, similar to what we see today on speedways like Atlanta, Texas, etc.
