New GSYE files not being used

I am trying to make a new Gentlemen Start Your Engines sound file, but when I place the files in the sound folder and try to test them ingame, the default sounds are used instead. As various instructions have listed, I saved the mp3 file I wanted to use as a .ogg, and made 12 copies. Each one is labeled gyse1.ogg through gsye12.ogg.

I searched back through previous threads discussing how to make them, and few give any clear cut answers as to what could be wrong. One set of instructions...
