We are 99 days away from the 2017 Daytona 500 so I figured I would get the countdown started with the #99 that Tony Stewart beat at Homestead in 2011 to win his 3rd and final championship, hard to believe 5 years later and it's his final race...

Rick Ware Racing shut doors for Xfinity Series, move to Truck Series for 2017

"Rick Ware Racing will return to the Camping World Truck Series full-time in 2017, temporarily shutting down its XFINITY Series program.

21-year-old Cody Ware says he will pilot the team’s full-time truck for approximately half of the 23-race schedule. The other driver will be announced at a later date.

There has been talk within the team of possibly running a second part-time truck with various drivers filling the seat.

Ware is coming off a season in which he competed in six XFINITY...

Since the NR2003 Screenshot and Video Thread has 68 pages, I thought I would go ahead and post a similar thread, but with non NR2003 shots.

So, same premise as the other thread...you may post screenshots for whatever game you want (besides NR2003). Shots from T-Rated games and under are allowed. Shots should be appropriate for SRD.

I thought since SRD is the biggest NR2003 forum that I'd show off some progress of my 1990 NASCAR Busch Grand National Series car set for the Cup90 mod. I have a group on Facebook where I show my completed work, but I know that there are a lot of people who don't have any interest in using Facebook, so I figured I'd place my work here.

The first thing you'll likely notice is that I don't render my cars. The reasoning behind that is that I feel sometimes renders give a bit of a false...

Newbie to rendering

So I'm trying to pick up this as a hobby while on deployment and I've been slowing learning how to do all this. I've figured out the painting with gimp and i know they are applied as a "material" to the car, but this what I get when I load the "15Gen6_MRscene" file from bullring. This is the way all the files appear when I open them in 3ds Max. What is it I'm missing with these files? Also, do the car paintings need to be .psd format when they go from Gimp to 3ds Max or another format?...

After relentless pestering by a buddy I FINALLY downloaded & installed the BR Cup mod. I've put together a car set which I'll be posting here over the next several weeks. My cars are part real but mostly alternate\fictional. I want to thank all the base (especially NDG), number, & logo artist for their hard work and their generosity of posting their masterpieces for people (like me who wouldn't have a clue how to make a base) to download and use. Thank you all ! As far as credits,if I forget...

The SRD IndyCar Series has made its way to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and the beautiful Yas Marina Circuit.

The Yas Marina Circuit is a 21 turn. 3.451 mile permanent road course on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE. The circuit sits only 30 minutes away from the nations capital. It is making its debut appearance on the SRD IndyCar schedule.

This is a rather advanced setup tutorial that goes over various programs so I recommend if you are new to painting cars for NR2003 to see some of the beginner tutorials first. This tutorial is primary for those who know how to paint NR2003 cars already and are looking for an alternative method to create those complex designs in a easier way.
